With Skool out for Spring Break, Nyx and Gaz decide to take a trip to the gaming planet. But when they're sidetracked by a favor for Nyx's friend Grissom, Hilarity Ensues.
- Badass Boast: Grissom gives a subdued one regarding his influence on Slumia:Grissom:I own this planet. Nothing happens here without my say-so. And if it does, I strike down on the perpetrators like a wrathful god.
- Call-Back: Gaz recalls Nyx mentioning the video game planet Arcadikon back when they first met in Episode 2.
- Clingy MacGuffin: Nyx is unable to get the alien dog collar off of Gaz, who decides to just go with it.
- A Day in the Limelight: This chapter is about Nyx and Gaz going on a space road trip and hijinks ensuing. The rest of the main cast either don't show up at all or only have minimal appearances near the beginning.
- Destination Defenestration: Nyx tosses the two Irken cops who sent Gaz to the pound off of Grissom's office balcony to land in a fountain several floors below.
- Girl's Night Out Episode: This chapter is all about Gaz and Nyx going on a trip together.
- Human Pet: While on Slumia, Gaz is mistaken for an animal (since none of the locals know what a human is) and sent to the pound, where's she collared and groomed before Nyx manages to save her.
- Insane Troll Logic: Leashlor, the Animal Catcher of Slumia, stretches rationality quite a bit to justify treating Gaz as an animal.
- Monster Clown: The Happy Fun Times Death Clan, an Irken gang on Foodcourtia which for some reason has its members all dress up like clowns.
- Mythology Gag:
- At one point during the trip, Nyx's ship's radio is playing the song "Hinka Dinka Hoinka Smeedge" from Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus.
- Also during the trip, Gaz sees a billboard for the Galaxy's Largest Space Donut, which appeared in Issue 1 of the comic series.
- Shout-Out:
- After tossing the Irken cops off a balcony into a fountain, Nyx admits she didn't know it was down there.
- While fighting the clown-themed gang, Gaz makes references to Bozo and Pennywise.
- Synchronous Episodes: This chapter and the next happen mostly at the same time.
- There Was a Door: When Nyx blasts her way into the Slumia pound, Leashlor points out that the door wasn't locked.
