"I'm gonna hurt you"
In "The Strange Tale of the Crack Fox", Vince encounters a strange creature living in a pile of binbags out back after being forced to take out the rubbish for once. This creature is the Crack Fox, a disgusting, menacing fox with syringes for hands who worms his way into the store with a sob story, before making off with Naboo's bottle of Shaman Juice, a potion of great power.

Vince blames Howard for this incident, and Naboo fires him on the spot, leaving him to walk the streets of London. The Shamanic Council convenes and sentences Naboo and Bollo to death for allowing the Shaman Juice to be stolen.

Vince goes off in search of the Crack Fox, and reunites with Howard. Together, with a little help from the Plan Pony and a homeless man, they defeat him.

The Mighty Boosh episode "The Strange Tale of the Crack Fox" contains these tropes:

  • Absurdly Spacious Sewer: Vince and Howard climb through a manhole into a sewer that's wide enough for both to walk easily upright, run around, and get into a fight. It's basically a dark corridor with some water on the ground.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Vince gives a homeless man his incredibly cool cape as a gesture of friendship to Howard. The homeless man is so touched he shows up to rescue them from the Crack Fox and sacrifices himself to allow their escape.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: Naboo's acquisition of the Shaman Juice plays out just like a drug deal. He meets a shaman with a vaguely Jamaican accent under a bridge, who enthusastically yet vaguely hypes it up. After the deal, he immediately makes himself scarce.
  • Drunken Master: The homeless man downs a can of cheap beer before fighting the Crack Fox, claiming it's his secret weapon Power-Up.
  • Emerald Power: The shaman juice, a potion of great power, is a bright acid green colour.
  • Fartillery: The Crack Fox weaponizes his incredibly foul flatuence in order to knock Vince out and steal the Shaman Juice.
  • Hypocritical Humor: The homeless man that Vince helped claims that Vince's cape was the first time anyone had ever given him anything in his life, even though Vince just gave him 57 euros minutes before.
  • Jerkass Ball: Vince is more of a selfish jerk than usual in this episode, and the plot wouldn't be the same without it. The episode begins with the reveal that Vince does nothing around the shop and has never taken out the rubbish in his life. When he deliberately throws out the rubbish in a manner against Howard's directions, he meets the Crack Fox. Then, he blames the Crack Fox getting the Shaman Juice on Howard even though it was his own fault, and is too distracted by a cape to defend him. But the cape and Howard's firing are both key to finding the Crack Fox.
  • Lunacy: In order to work properly, the Shaman Juice must be powered up by the light of the full moon.
  • Pimped-Out Cape: Vince gets a thick, floor-length cape in a kaleidoscope of glittery colors from Naboo. He's so mesmerized by it he completely ignores Howard getting fired or his friends stealing from the store till.
  • Quintessential British Gentleman: Before coming to London, the Crack Fox was a typical aristocrat, with a neatly trimmed beard, monacle, and suit, and a fondness for stereotypically posh activities like rowing, hunting, and tennis.
