A disrespected weatherman named Fritz Drizzle becomes a supervillain named The Tempest, who attacks the city with the elements - and interrupts the Mask's night out.
Tropes:
- Butt-Monkey: Fritz may take first place as the least respected person in Edge City with Stanley taking second seeing that he has been given wrong weather news reports and when been offered a clown costume to increase audience viewings it becomes the last straw as he loses it and he gets fired all because understandably he did not pick the job to be a weatherman just to wear a clown costume.
- From Nobody to Nightmare: Fritz decides to take revenge on his former coworkers for disrespecting him so he decide to mess around with the equipment by giving it a little tweak, a little adjustment and kicking it a lot to make Edge City's satellite go out of control so that there will be no weather forecasts at all but thunder struck down on him and turns him into a electric being which he decide to use them to get even with the people who shown him no respect and calls himself The Tempest who then becomes a supervillain by flooding Edge City.
- Everyone Has Standards: The Mask despite robbing a bank once will pay up for the food, the drinks or anything he buys as he politely pays the young man who is a worker there as he bought 20 pizzas showing that despite his chaotic nature, The Mask will pay with money showing just how much of a gentleman he is to the people who are nice to him.
- My God, What Have I Done?: The Mask is understandably not happy when fritz gives out the wrong new reports such as it will be a sunny day when it’s actually raining outside so he confronts him on it and even though he learns that he has been disrespected by the staff he works with, The Mask should sympathize with the guy considering that Stanley went through the same thing like him but when he finds out that fritz is going to wear a clown costume, he laughs along with the other guy who has been a jerk to him which after he hears him ranting on how he'll get his revenge on him and everyone else, The Mask clearly shows regret for laughing at him and is very much ashamed with himself when he knows that he should have stood up for him instead of laughing at him just as he did then.
- Growling Gut: The Mask after leaving the party gets called up by his stomach who tells him that he is hungry and he'll better do something about it which The Mask tells him he will do it straightaway which he does by going to the pizza place to do so.Stomach: Hey buster. (Mask opens the lid on his body) Yeah, that's right, down here. I'm getting real hungry, and it's time you did something about it.Mask: All right, all right, quit growling. Nobody likes a sour stomach.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: As the pizza restaurant the Mask is in starts to flood, he swims out and notices the deluge that has place Edge City under water, which prompts him to proclaim: "It's that weather weirdo again, he's ruining my city! Only I get to do that."
