The seventh episode of the first season of the 2007 revival series of The Magic Roundabout.

- Digging to China: Brian accidentally pushes a button on the vacuuming device that blasts Dougal and the thingy down the hole all the way to Australia. Dougal manages to return to the Magic Garden with the thingy just as Florence rescues him.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Dougal's Australian cousin Digger makes his brief debut when Dougal ends up in Australia at one point while retrieving the thingy.
- Help, I'm Stuck!: Dougal gets his head stuck down the hole while digging to retrieve the thingy, prompting Florence to try and pull him out with the vacuuming device.
- Idiot Ball: Dougal foolishly took the titular gear from the mechanism of the roundabout, due to it looking like and smells like a bone, and buried it somewhere all off-screen before the episode starts.
- I Need to Go Iron My Dog: When everyone sees that the Magic Roundabout is broken down and knowing that the thingy's missing from there. When Florence sees the illustration of it as it was shaped like a bone in Mr. Rusty's book, she turns her attention to Dougal. He tells everyone that he needs to go and sort his stamp collection, but Florence immediately sees through his excuse, saying that he doesn't have a stamp collection.
- Powerful and Helpless: When Zebedee is summoned to help solve a problem, he couldn't get his magical powers to work because the thingy is missing from the roundabout, and without it, the roundabout doesn't work and it couldn't power up Zebedee's magic.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Florence and Mr. Rusty weren't too pleased with Dougal when they find out that Dougal had taken the thingy from the Magic Roundabout.
