Power Play With the Casagrandes
When a high utility bill threatens Hector and Rosa's annual anniversary trip, Ronnie Anne spearheads a family effort to cut back on usage.

- Brick Joke: After Ronnie Anne gives up her mini fridge, she puts the leftovers she saved in the kitchen fridge and labels them so no one will take them. When she goes to the fridge at night, she finds one of the containers she labeled empty.
- Chekhov's Gag: Ronnie Anne distracts Sergio by luring him into the bathroom using a laser pointer (think cats). She later uses this trick so he’ll exhaust himself and not bother her every night.
- Continuity Nod: Bobby is seen talking to Lori on multiple electronic devices, just like Lori was when she talked to him. When Bobby tells her that his family is trying to cut back on electricity, Lori even responds, (in a rather contemptuous tone) with "Been there" clearly indicating she isn't very proud of her and her family's behaviour at the time.
- The Dog Was the Mastermind: After the whole family's been trying to cut back in order to save electricity, Ronnie Anne soon finds out that Sergio is actually the one using up a lot of electricity by throwing parties in the Mercado every night.
- Epic Fail: Ronnie Anne’s attempt to shower, brush her teeth and wash her clothes all at once in just 2 minutes leaves her looking quite humiliated and disheveled.
- Et Tu, Brute?: Bobby feels betrayed when he learns that CJ is wasting water in the tub.
- Foreshadowing: Notice how Sergio keeps giving Bobby party hats. This hints at him being the one who keeps wasting electricity and raising the bill.
- Green Aesop: Ronnie Anne tries to reduce her family's carbon footprint to decrease the cost of their utility bill so that Hector and Rosa can go on their anniversary trip.
- I Was Quite the Looker: Hector and Rosa as seen in the photo of them from their first anniversary trip. Justified, as they were much younger.
- Non-Nude Bathing: Ronnie Anne attempts to shower with her clothes on while brushing her teeth for two minutes. It doesn't work out too well.
- Rapid-Fire "No!": Bobby reacts this way when his video chat timer goes off and pauses on Lori making an awkward face.
- Say My Name: Ronnie Anne towards Sergio, once she finds him wasting energy by partying with his pigeon friends.
- Self-Deprecation: Lori takes an in-universe jab at "The Green House."Lori: (scoffs) Been there!
- Wild Teen Party: Sergio's mercado party with the pigeons very closely resembles one, right down to Ronnie Anne being called a "party pooper" for crashing it.
Room For Improvement With the Casagrandes
Desperate to find a place in their own building, Ronnie Anne and Sid find a hidden room in the laundry area and try to keep it a secret from the rest of the tenants.

- Digging to China: Sid distracts Adelaide by tricking her into digging to Australia.
- Oblivious Guilt Slinging: The tenants all approach Ronnie Anne and Sid to tell them that they are willing to give up their spots in the building to them if they want time to themselves, making both girls feel guilty about keeping their room a secret from everyone.
- Running Gag: Ronnie Anne and Sid trying to practice the Twelve Is Midnight dance routine only to keep getting interrupted.
- Secret Room: The episode centers around Ronnie Anne and Sid finding one in the laundry room, which they use to get some privacy. At the end, they decide to share it with everyone and hang up a sign in schedule so everyone can have a chance to use it.
