Recap / The Loud House S 4 E 1 Friended With The Casagrandes

Go To

Ronnie Anne makes friends with Sid Chang, a girl whose family wants to rent the apartment upstairs. When it looks like another couple might get it first, the girls resort to sabotage to try and dissuade them.

"Friended! With the Casagrandes"

  • Birds of a Feather: Ronnie Anne and Sid get along pretty well due to being free spirits who aren't afraid to do anything to get what they want.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Another episode for Ronnie Anne.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Ronnie Anne, with the help of the other Casagrande kids, successfully managed to scare away the potential tenants, the Reynolds. What they didn't consider was the possibility that the Reynolds would describe the seemingly very badly kept apartment to the building's owner, Mr. Scully.
  • Genki Girl: Sid is shown to be particularly energetic, notably trying pretty much anything that she thinks is fun.
  • Misplaced Wildlife: There is a ring-tailed lemur with Arturo in Ronnie Anne's image of him in Peru. However, lemurs are native to Madagascar, not Peru.
  • Mistaken Identity: When talking to Lincoln, Ronnie Anne claims she thought she saw him in the city the day before, but it was just an old man with white hair.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: When Ronnie Anne's grandmother almost loses her job as the building manager, Ronnie Anne immediately regrets her behavior, and confesses what she did to save Rosa's job.
  • Out of Focus: In order to show more focus on Ronnie Anne's family, Lincoln only has one scene, where she just tells him about her day. The sisters are shown stampeding him for breakfast.
  • Pet the Dog: When Mr. Scully, the building's owner, realizes why Ronnie Anne did what she did, he gets the Reynolds family into another one of his buildings, while the Changs get the apartment above Ronnie Anne's.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Once it's made clear what happened to the apartment wasn't Rosa's fault, Mr. Scully lets her keep her job as the building manager.
  • Special Edition Title: The theme song is shortened with Ronnie Anne introducing herself and her family.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Maria is not too happy when she finds out that Ronnie Anne tried to stop a couple from renting the new apartment so that Sid and her family can move into it, which almost cost Rosa her job as the building manager. Although Maria does understand why Ronnie Anne did it.
