The calm before the storm...
After Shaun treats a patient who is a social influencer, he deals with unwanted attention of her fans. Carly finds out that Shaun is still in contact with Lea and isn't happy about it.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Shaun decides to have a headache with ice cream, to get an idea of the pain the Patient of the Week is feeling, although Lea makes it clear that this is a bad idea. He immediately regrets it.
- Friend Versus Lover: Once again, Carly is bothered by Shaun and Lea's friendship, which is more intimate than it should be...
- Insult Backfire: Glassman makes it clear that he only agreed to let Lea do a job interview as a favor for Shaun. When he comments that he and Leah working together would be a disaster, Lea comments in detail on several problems she saw on Glassman's computer and which he had no idea about. Glassman is shocked and agrees to give Lea the secretarial job.
- It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time: Shaun decides to have a headache eating ice cream to get an idea of how to help his patient. Lea tries to convince Shaun that this is not a good idea. Shaun does it anyway. The result is predictable.
- Just Friends: Carly is annoyed to discover that Shaun is not only keeping in touch with Lea, he is also hiding these encounters from her. Shaun insists that Lea is his best friend.
- Pet the Dog: Morgan, The Friend Nobody Likes, gives Carly friendly advice on how to handle her relationship with Shaun.
