"Lights...Camera...Adam!" is the sixth episode of season four of The Fairly OddParents.
Timmy goes to Hollywood with Cosmo and Wanda, and Adam West helps him land the role of Cleft, the Boy Chin Wonder, in Crimson Chin: The Movie. Timmy jumps into his comic book to find his motivation, but he leaves the door to the comic book world open, allowing the Bronze Knee Cap to escape into the real world. Now the Bronze Knee Cap is out to destroy the Crimson Chin's reputation.
Tropes
- As Himself: Both Adam West and Jay Leno appear as themselves (in addition to the latter voicing the Crimson Chin).
- Cast the Runner-Up: In-Universe. Timmy auditioned to play the role of Cleft in the Crimson Chin movie, hoping it'd be open and shut as the character is based on him; but the role goes to a donut delivery guy whom the director (a stand-in for Steven Spielberg) felt was "perfect for the role" despite being older and taller. Then the director gives Timmy a second look, and is hired one more time... as his stunt double.
- No OSHA Compliance: Timmy soon learns what his job as stunt double will put him through. The director spared in safety precautions.Timmy: So, what? I fly through the air and lay in a big floppy airbag and emerge completely unharmed?
Director: Airbag? He, he, funny! - Running Gag: Characters saying "TV's Adam West!" and Adam West saying "Where?" in response.
