Go To

Cleveland Junior falls in love with a girl at his school, and Rallo helps him ask her out. Meanwhile, Cleveland and Terry become gigolos.

Tropes:

  • Absurdly Youthful Mother: Chanel is a very attractive high school student, who also happens to have a daughter who is close to Rallo's age.
  • An Aesop: After his life was saved by a firefighter, Federline learns that the fire department isn't a gang of villains after all, but rather, a team of heroes. Unfortunately, he immediately follows this epiphany with a crack about how the real villains are the Coast Guard.
  • Battle Rapping: Cleveland Junior and Kenny West get into one of these.
  • Befriending the Enemy: Kenny and Junior resolve their conflict this way, but not after an epic rap battle.
  • Crazy Jealous Guy: Rallo becomes jealous of Junior's girlfriend.
  • Earpiece Conversation: Subverted and made fun of.
Rallo: All right, you put this in your ear, and I'm gunna feed you lines.
Junior: Hasn't this bit been done to death?
Rallo: Yeah, you're right. You got this.
  • Female Gaze: We get a clear shot of Terry shaking his ass at the camera as some of the women flirtatiously spank him and stuff money down his underwear in amazement.
  • Foreshadowing: At the beginning of the episode, Junior was practicing stopping, dropping, and rolling, in case he were ever to catch on fire, and at the end of the episode, that's exactly what happened.
  • Given Name Reveal: "Federline Jones" is actually a nickname, and his real name is "Gabriel Friedman".
  • Informed Deformity: Kenny West has a lazy eye under his cool shades, but this is only a gag, that's never brought up again, later in the series. In fact, whenever he shows his eyes again in future episodes, his eyes are completely normal.
  • Irony: Federline makes his birthday party a "Fuck the Fire Department" themed party, which ends in his whole house catching on fire, and his parents needing to call the fire department to save everyone's lives.
  • Jewish Mother: This episode is the debut of Federline's mother, Sarah Friedman.
  • Kick Them While They Are Down: After his father decks him for refusing to let them call the fire department to deal with a blaze, his mother takes a moment to kick him, either out of frustration for his stupidity or his culturally-misappropriated persona.
  • Male Gaze: Rallo was staring at Chanel's ass as she was walking away, but to be fair, as a 5-year-old, that was his normal view at his height.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: This episode introduces the paper-thin parody of Kanye West, known as "Kenny West".
  • Precocious Crush: Rallo develops a crush on Junior's girlfriend, whom only sees and treats him as a child.
    • He does seem to get over his crush on her and falls for Chanel's daughter, who also happens to be closer to his age.
  • Stacy's Mom: Chanel is very attractive and both Rallo and Junior fight for her attention. She also happens to be a young mother too.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Federline was this, when his house caught on fire. Which leads to his parents knocking him out while they call the fire department.
Saul: Quick! We gotta call the fire department!
Federline: No! That's just what the fire department wants you to do.
