- You Dirty Rat!: Once in the subway tunnel, Ronnie Anne and her friends run away from a group of rats, one of whom eats Sameer's shoe.

- Bird-Poop Gag: Bobby's Rage Breaking Point is when Sergio poops on his head.
- Covered in Gunge: The entire Casagrande family gets covered in guacamole when Carl's poop button on the drone controller gets jammed.
- Dude, Where's My Respect?: When Sergio wins the Employee of the Month award, Bobby is understandably miffed that no one voted for him even though he's a hard worker.
- "Eureka!" Moment: When he sees Sergio's feathers all over his room, Bobby gets the idea to make a Sergio robot. Hilarity Ensues.
- Everybody Cries: The Casagrande family (sans Carl) when they think Par killed Sergio.
- Evil-Detecting Dog: Of all the members of the Casagrande family, Lalo is the one to spot the difference between the real Sergio and the fake Sergio.
- Goofy Print Underwear: Some time ago, Lori sent Bobby a pair of boxers with hearts that have Lori's face in them.
- Heartbreak and Ice Cream: Bobby is shown eating ice cream after losing the Employee of the Month contest.
- High-Pressure Emotion: When Bobby gets mad at Sergio, his face turns red and steam comes out of his ears.
- Imagine Spot: Upon seeing that his family has gotten the police involved, Bobby imagines himself in jail.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Bobby gets very remorseful when he sees Abuela Rosa break down in tears over the disappearance of Sergio.
- Rage Breaking Point: Bobby, of all people, gets so mad at Sergio for pooping on his head that he tells the bird to fly away and never return. It's particularly scary because we almost never see Bobby get that angry!
- Shout-Out: The title is taken from the Beatles song "Norwegian Wood".
- Toilet Humor: Not only does the real Sergio poop on Bobby's head, the fake Sergio poops guacamole.
- Took a Level in Dumbass: The entire family (sans Bobby and Carl) don't realize that the fake Sergio is clearly just a drone and the "poop" is just guacamole.
- Tropey, Come Home: The main plot of the episode is Sergio running away and the Casagrande family freaking out as a result.
