Pastor Tim goes missing while on his trip to Ethiopia, Alice comes over to visit Elizabeth and Philip, accuses them of being responsible for his disappearance, and threatens to expose them if Pastor Tim ends up dead. Elizabeth and Philip deny having anything to do with it (although Philip privately wonders if maybe something did happen against orders, and Elizabeth agrees to ask Gabriel to see about finding him), but Paige doesn't believe it. After two days, Pastor Tim is found (it turns out he and the man he was with were lost), and when Paige comforts Alice, Alice admits she was sorry about what she said to Elizabeth and Philip, and promises Paige she'll apologize to them in person as well. When Elizabeth tells Gabriel about it, Gabriel admits everyone involved was lucky.
Elizabeth continues to see Young-Hee, but Don is uncomfortable, and Young-Hee doesn't know why. Gabriel is ready to continue the operation, but asks Elizabeth if she wants him to ask the Centre to see if there's another way so Young-Hee doesn't get hurt. After hesitating a long time, she admits she does want Gabriel to find another way.
While Gaad is on vacation in Thailand, and planning to meet up with his wife later, KGB agents break into their hotel room, but before they can talk to him, Gaad runs towards the balcony door, and when the agents run after him, Gaad breaks through the glass and is impaled against it, which ends up killing him. Turns out the KGB agents were sent there by Arkady, who gets upset when he finds out Gaad is dead. Stan is likewise upset when Aderholt breaks the news to him.
Elsewhere, Gabriel is still working on getting William access to the Lassa virus, and Tatiana (who's still having an affair with Oleg), as it turns out, is working on that operation as well.

- Literary Allusion Title: The episode title, of course, refers to The Wizard of Oz, and Stan refers to the working environment under his new boss as "Munchkinland."
