Recap / The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You Ch 157

It's another day in the life of Rentarou's family.

We open to Ahko and Uto seeing a scary movie. Uto reacts with shrieks, while Ahko's exclamations of fear are more subdued. After the film ends, Uto calmly muses that perhaps she was scared, but since she's still alive, it must not have been that scary. Ahko claims to have been totally freaking out.

On the rooftop, Yaku and Momiji are watching Kusuri and Eira sumo wrestle before sneaking off to a hidden corner for "the usual". Despite the sinister overtones, it's quickly revealed to be Momiji giving Yaku a massage in secret so Kusuri won't make a fuss.

Mei tells Hahari that Hakari has a Mother's Day gift for her. Strangely, "Kishika" is dragging Hakari along, with "Hakari" revealing that she'd been ambushed with the body-swap drug. Hakari declares that for today only, she'll give as much of "herself" as she can, with Kishika protesting that she should get a say in the matter.

Cut to Hahari cradling a baby mode Kishika (still in Hakari's body) in her arms while remembering Hakari as a baby. As Kishika sucks on Hahari's breasts, Hakari (still in Kishika's body) looks away in mortification while Mei compliments her filial piety.

At the bookstore, Shizuka is lamenting that while the book she has in her hands — a lesbian romance with some spicy scenes — is amazing, she isn't sure she should recommend it to anyone else in the family. Mai walks up to her, not surprised to see her at a bookstore, before taking note of the book. Shizuka tries to explain away her holding it in embarrassment, only for Mai to reveal that she's quite fond of story herself, to Shizuka's delight. They spend the afternoon chatting about it.

Naddy, Kusuri, and Chiyo are at the mall when the former two notice Chiyo looking at a poster for Mother's Day. Thinking that Chiyo is missing her mother, they tell her to wait for them to take care of something. When they return, Naddy is wearing glasses and Kusuri is in her adult form. Chiyo is touched, but the next few panels reveal that she was simply confused about the manga's timeline.

Momoha expresses surprise that Tama doesn't drink and insists on them spending the night getting drunk. When Mai comes to check on Momoha the next morning, she finds the two passed out with their bras on their faces to block the sunlight.

Eira and Mimimi run into each other while buying cosmetics. After making their purchases, Eira reveals that she also bought some for Mimimi. Mimimi tries to decline, but Eira insists on treating her. Unbeknownst to them, Meme has witnessed the exchange and gotten so flustered by Mimimi's graciousness being flipped on her head that she goes home and squeezes her life-size Rentarou doll.

Kurumi is listening to Kiki's music while lamenting that the real Himeka is an oddball. When her stomach growls, she attempts to leave to seek food, accidentally dropping her headphones as she does. Himeka catches them, and puts them back on Kurumi's head, noting that they're pretty good ones and that she should be more careful. Kurumi is frustrated at being played like a fiddle.

Ahko warns Nano about a swarm of wasps nearby. As Yamame deals with them off-panel, Nano recites pi to keep her nerves. This naturally catches the attention of Suu. Seeing how happy it makes her, Nano continues even though she doesn't really see the need to.

After witnessing another tsundere moment of Karane's, Rin asks her to accompany her to the arcade. At the punching machine, Rin plays a recording of Rentarou telling Karane he loves her. In embarrassment, Karane punches the machine hard enough that she sets a new record. Rin tells Karane that her violence is what she loves about her. Karane is visibly touched, but only thanks Rin in her mind.

Iku is struggling to get a box on a shelf that's too high even for Yamame. Yamame suggests they piggyback to get it. Iku agrees and lifts Yamame onto her shoulders. This isn't what Yamame had in mind, but it gives her a nostalgic feeling from her father carrying her when she was little. She thanks Iku for the experience. When Iku offers to carry the box, she realizes that lifting Yamame took more out of her than she thought. As thanks, Yamame decides to carry both Iku and the box bridal style.

End chapter.
