Naddy and Rentarou meet up to go for a car date. Rentarou, already amazed at how great Naddy's off-day outfit is, becomes flustered when Naddy hugs him despite the fact that she does it every day.
Noticing this, Naddy resolves to help him get over his embarrassment by spending the day giving him plenty of hugs, starting from from when he first gets in the car. As they travel, Naddy notes that it's nothing but American tunes in her car when she drives. The song she's singing, however ("We Wish You A Merry Christmas") is actually British. As she sings, she also ends up dipping into enka.
Upon pulling into the "Mac's" drive-thru, she greets the employee with "howdy". After a beat panel, the employee speaks to her in English over the intercom. She panics and struggles to convey her true nationality. Rentarou tells the employee that Japanese is fine. They then stop in the "I'm lovin it" park to eat. Naddy gives him a Mac Hug. Rentarou tells her that it's more like a back hug.
Naddy laments that she always ends up with leftover fries and drink when she orders the large. The drink, she can handle, but asks Rentarou to help her finish off the fries, giving him another hug as she does so. As they do so, a passing elderly couple mistakes her for a foreigner and comments on how passionate they are. The man, not wanting Japan to lose in that department, grips his wife's hand tightly. Sadly, they are no match for Naddy's Stroll Hug.
Back in the car, Naddy follows Rentarou's directions to a drive-in theater, just like in the classic American movies like Ant-Man. She gives him a thank you hug before they settle in to watch a movie about an American couple visiting Japan. Naddy gives Rentarou a squeeze when the man proposes to his girlfriend at the end of the movie.
After driving Rentarou home, Naddy gives him a "Happy Trails" hug before asking if he's gotten used to them yet. The redness of his face gives away that he hasn't. He says that he'll never get used to it because she's too beautiful. Charmed by this, Naddy offers him a hug just because she wants to hug him. Rentarou, thinking that he can't live without her hugs anymore, accepts it. When Naddy suggests that he channel his inner American and hug her back, he does so.
The chapter ends with a kiss.
