Recap / The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You Ch 125

Go To

At the end of the school day, Kusuri and Kishika are making plans to walk home together. Their classmates take notice and ask how they became friends. Kusuri proudly declares that they have the same boyfriend.

Kishika is flabbergasted by Kusuri's boldness while their classmates start gossiping. Kishika insists that nothing sordid is going on while the classmates that asked excuse themselves.

On the way home, Kishika scolds Kusuri for inviting rumors, but Kusuri doesn't care what others think. Kishika demands to know if Kusuri has any pride. Kusuri, hurt by this, shouts that she's proud to be part of the family and calls Kishika various insults as she runs off.

Kishika dwells on Kusuri's words while Kusuri is comforted by Yaku at home. Yaku gently points out that it's likely that Kishika just doesn't want people to speak ill of their family. Surely Kusuri knows by now that Kishika loves them just as much as Kusuri does?

The next morning, Kishika spots Kusuri peeping into the classroom. Before she can bring up their previous conversation, Kusuri warns her to stay away. When Kishika attempts to force the issue, Kusuri reveals that she kind of messed up - their classmates have all regressed to an infant state. In an attempt to make up with her, Kusuri had them drink a drug that was only supposed to erase their memories related to their love life, but ended up blocking all of their memories as a side effect. She can whip up a batch of the negation drug, but can't let any of them leave because they'll get hurt. Kishika, who has plenty of experience with wrangling infants, takes over while Kusuri heads to her lab.

By the time Kusuri returns, Kishika has also regressed into her infant state. Humiliated, Kishika says her catch phrase, which their classmates repeat in baby-talk.

Kusuri dispatches the negation drug offscreen, and soon the class wakes up. Kusuri hugs Kishika as thanks and apologizes for their fight, with Kishika also apologizing. The two classmates who asked them about their friendship before are curious about this, revealing that the first drug DID erase their memory of Kusuri's declaration. When the girls ask how they got so close, Kusuri stumbles for an excuse before Kishika declares that they have the same boyfriend and are proud of it.

Kusurui is shocked, but pleased by this. Their classmates are surprised, but note that they seem happy before offering to talk to them if they ever need it.

Kusuri then proudly talks about the various hijinks the family gets up to, to Kishika's fury. End chapter.

Tropes:

  • Acquaintance Denial: Downplayed. Kusuri and Kishika's classmates notice the two of them are close to one another, which leads to Kusuri letting slip that they're dating the same boy. Kishika tries to deny the spreading rumors, which prompts Kusuri to concoct a drug to erase their memories of what she told them. After cleaning up some unintended side effects of the drug, Kishika decides to come clean about their boyfriend, though Kusuri still lets slip some of their bizarre adventures.
  • A Day in the Limelight: The chapter focuses on Kusuri and Kishika, with only Yaku showing up for a couple pages.
  • I Take Offense to That Last One: At one point, Kusuri storms off yelling insults at Kishika. The only one Kishika objects to is the last one, because it is actually a bad habit of Kusuri's:
Kusuri: You big dummy! You whiny brat! Thumb sucker! Adult baby! Boob licker! Panty wetter!
Kishika: That one is pure projection!
