Rentarou introduces Suu to the rest of the girlfriends. Most of them are put off by her cold attitude, but (after she pictures them all as 1s) she perks up more. Rentarou explains her love for numbers, which Shizuka and Nano compare to enjoyment of letters (for Shizuka) and drawings in general. The family sits in a circle for some love talk, with Suu getting asked about her prior love life. She says her first love was the numbers on a kindergarten victory podium (though she can't remember the faces of the people standing on it), hasn't has a kiss or date yet, but did have a snafu between the 7 on her jacket (her childhood friend) and a 7 on the 7-Eleven sign she was stargazing with. She insists the 7s are different, describing them as gentle and beefy respectively. The girlfriends are moved by Suu's love for numbers.
The next day, Ahko greets Suu (her classmate), who struggles to remember her name. Ahko picks up on this, but assures her it's no big deal given how big the group is. Suu admits this has always been a problem for her, and she hates she can remember any of Rentarou's girlfriends after he went so far for her number love. Ahko realizes Suu's real problem is she hates a part about herself, and decides to help her.
At lunch, Ahko suggests Suu try associating her love of numbers with the rest of the family. After testing the idea by putting 'nine' in Nano and Naddy's names, Ahko spends the entire break helping Suu connect everyone's names to numbers.
After school, everyone meets on the roof, and Suu starts reciting everyone's names. 1-9 Iku, 8-9 Yaku, 3-3-3 Mimimi, 108 for Momoha, 8-8 for Hahari, 3-2 for Momiji, 9 and 3 for Kurumi, 9 for Kusuri, 10 for Uto. 7s for Nano and Naddy, 8s for Hakari and Yamame, 1s for Mei and Mai. Shizuka, Chiyo, and Kishika are the 3 4s (a.k.a. the babies). Meme Kakure is 9-0 (the bangs to the 9s that show 0 eyes).
Suu stalls out on Karane and Rin, until Ahko suggests Iku get paddled. The resulting "Molto Violento" helps Suu remember 60 for Rin (VI 0 lento). After Ahko gets Karane to go Tsundere, her "It's not like I like him or anythin' " helps Suu remember 4-20-thin' for Karane.
As everyone celebrates Suu getting everyone's names down (even earlier than some of them did), Suu and Rentarou share their first kiss. Ahko, noticing she didn't get a number-based name, asks Suu what that makes her.
"What?" Suu asks. "You're Ahko."
Touched, Ahko actually giggles as she hugs Suu, who gets flustered by the sudden affection.
