Go To

Rentarou presents a set of 100GF merchandise which went on sale the month of the chapter's release, consisting of buttons, square badges, and acrylic keychains. Karane is befuddled that Rentarou is creating an advertisement chapter, but Rentarou explains that he's promoting the merch in the hopes that all of his girlfriends will get their own merch note . With this in mind, and hoping to be able to see Rentarou merch in the future, the rest of the girls decide to go along with promoting the merch.

Hakari wears a Hakari button on her blazer to invoke Male Gaze, but Rentarou sees it as a doubling of cuteness. Nano gives Shizuka a Nano button since she sees her on a regular basis, and Shizuka gives Nano a Shizuka button by the same principle. Chiyo pins a badge to her backpack, with Kusuri pinning a whole set of badges and buttons to hers. Chiyo immediately rearranges them in a neat order.

Karane insists she isn't interested in the merch, but Hakari finds one of each Karane merch in her backpack, prompting Karane to slam her backpack over Hakari's head. While Hahari pretends to be Rentarou to a blind Hakari, Iku attaches a full set of keychains to her phone. Mimimi tries to wear the keychains as earrings, prompting Iku atempting to do likewise. Mei arranges a set of square badges to have Hahari surrounded by the other girls.

Meme attaches badges to hewr dolls to give them faces, prompting Hahari to roleplay with a pair with her and Karane's faces, prompting Hakari and Karane to retaliate. Hahari responds by pretending to bestow a dying gift to Mei, who covers her entire uniform with Hahari merch. This leads Rentarou to fantasize about using the merch as a Pocket Protector. ...or not. Rentarou couldn't bear for merch of his girlfriends to be damaged.

Kusuri creates a game using the square badges, where players could flick badges across a playing field to knock opponents' badges out of the playing field. The resulting collision results in a Hahari badge landing on top of a Kurumi badge. When Hahari tries to get a kiss from Kurumi before the badges contact, Kurumi distracts her with a set of merch. Iku devises her own game involving identifying keychains by feeling their shape.

Rentarou attempts to produce a mental image of his feelings at the moment, with the Imagine Spot being Rentarou and all the girls bathing in merch. Or rather, that's Hahari's mental image; Rentarou's is a crayon drawing of him walking across a meadow hand-in-hand with his girlfriends. Finally, Rentarou removes his shirt to reveal that he's been wearing a tunic entirely made of merch.

Tropes:

  • The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: After explaining how the merch can be used as Hahari repellent, Kusuri warns the readers to check under their beds.
  • Hated Item Makeover: Chiyo rearranges the badges that Kusuri pinned to her book bag. Kusuri doesn't want Chiyo messing with her stuff and is about to remove Chiyo's glasses to make her cry before realizing she was just arranging them in a neat order.
  • Look, a Distraction!: Hakari distracts Karane by shouting "Look! A breast-enhancing bra!" to sneak a peek inside her backpack.
  • No Fourth Wall: The fourth wall is completely removed for this chapter so that Rentarou and the girls can promote new merchandise for the manga.
  • Pocket Protector: Parodied. Rentarou imagines being shot by a hitman, only to reveal that he'd been keeping seven of his girlfriends' wooden tags as a good luck charm... and only narrowly managed to move them out of the way so they didn't get hit.
