Robin gets stressed out during a trip to a fancy mall, but then finds peace upon sitting in a massage chair.
Tropes:
- Cool Chair: The massage chair is so comfortable that one five-minute demo gives Robin an entire Vision Quest. Unfortunately, this means than when the five minutes are up, Robin becomes desperate to attain that level of comfort again and stays awake all night long to research which one to buy for the Tower.
- Dem Bones: What the Titans turn into as they end up spending the rest of their lives sitting in the sentient massage chairs.
- Demonic Possession: When the Titans decide to unplug the chair, it ends up possessing Robin and using its powers to create an army of sentient massage chairs that similarly control the other Titans, and then the entirety of Jump City, after relaxing them.
- Hive Mind: The massage chair that Robin buys for the Tower and its subsequent army work as one of these.
- Incredibly Lame Fun: All of the Titans, except for Robin, have fun doing incredibly lame things at the mall including riding the miniature mall train (Cyborg & Beast Boy), using the mall’s glass elevator (Raven), and trying out free makeup samples (Starfire).
- Parking Problems: Upon reaching the fancy mall, it takes an entire hour just for Robin to find a parking spot, which he claims is the first of numerous reasons why malls stress him out.
- Stairs Are Faster: Raven's favorite feature of the fancy mall is a glass elevator that goes up one floor, but it takes so long to rise that an old lady using the stairs reaches the next floor before they're even a foot off the ground.
- Time Skip: Once the Chairs have possessed everyone in Jump City, they declare that they'll keep providing relaxation until peak comfort has been attained. Cut to seven months later, when literally everyone is reduced to skeletons after not eating or drinking for that long, and the chairs declare their work to be done.
- Vision Quest: Upon sitting in the massage chair, Robin undergoes a trippy sequence in which he envisions himself flying through space on the chair.
