- Awesomeness by Analysis: Technoblade knew what signs was marked "win" because he heard skeppy type "lose," a four letter word.
- Brick Joke: in the beginning of the episode, Skeppy uses homing arrows to troll Technoblade. When Techno gets out of the map, when Skeppy was trying to shoot at him with a bow and arrow (and failing miserably), Technoblade says that this is why he needs homing arrows.
- Easy Level Trick: Techno going for the wall instead of the intended route.
- Epic Fail: Skeppy used water to put Technoblade out, but the lava underneath turned into obsidian, which ruined Skeppy's map.
- Skeppy tried to throw a harming potion at Techno, but failed, so he got Techno to drink it. It wasn't as lethal as Skeppy thought.
- Foregone Conclusion: At the beginning of the episode, Skeppy says, "You're not allowed to record this and complain about me!" Cue the intertitle that says exactly that.
- Homing Projectile: The homing arrows Skeppy was using against Technoblade.Technoblade: IT TURNED! I SAW IT CURVE!
- The Law of Conservation of Detail: When Technoblade uses Skeppy's Ender Pearl to get to the background of the map:Skeppy: Ok, tell me why [the build team] added leaves!?
- No Indoor Voice: Techno whenever Skeppy trolled him at the beginning of the episode.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Technoblade tried to disguise himself as one of the villagers. It didn't work very well.
- Running Gag: Techno exclaiming "I'M FREE" every time he escapes.
- Russian Reversal: After Technoblade got out of the map:Technoblade: You thought you were here to troll me, but I was here to troll you!
- Sequence Breaking: When Technoblade skips the parkour using the wall.
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: When doing the first level of his map:Skeppy: I didn't just cheat that.
