During a sports event in Superjail, the Warden's weather robot goes out of control. The Warden and Alice team up to take down the mad bot before it's superstorm destroys Superjail. Meanwhile, The Doctor finds a solution to Jared's depression over Charise.

"Superstorm!" contains examples of:

  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The weather robot becomes enormous after it turns against the Warden.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Jared finally wins back Charise, but he secretly wants to be with her more sexually active clone.
  • Big Storm Episode: This entire episode features a big storm full of different types of weather thanks to Sunshine.
  • Continuity Nod: An infected prisoner from "Jean, and Paul, and Beefy, and Alice" is seen in the Doctor's lab.
    • Jailboat from "Vacation" can be seen at the airport.
    • The Gingerbread Man from "Superbar" make cameos in the destroyed Candyland section of Superjail.
    • The Vegetable Garden makes a cameo in this episode as they are sucked in and killed by a tornado.
    • The King Merman riding a seahorse from "Superbar" & the previous episode "The Superjail Inquisitor", reappears but this time he is covered in vomit & not swimming in water.
    • Bobo from "Terrorarium", "Time Police Part 2" and 'Planet Radio" (Who wins a game of tug of war) and the Monster Convict from "Cold-Blooded" and Superjail Grand Prix (In a room of dead bodies but gets sucked into a Tornado) make cameo appearances in this episode.
    • The Twins make the same cameo as they made in "Uh-Oh, Magic" but their music doesn't play.
  • Eye Scream: Fatty suffers this twice.
  • Fan Disservice: At the ending of the episode, the Doctor makes out with the Frankenstein-esque clone he made of Charise. It gets worse when we hear their pleasurable moans over the end credits!
  • For Science!: The subplot of the episode has the Doctor experiment on Charise to find a way to make her more promiscuous.
  • Sugar Apocalypse: A literal example occurs when the Warden is distraught to see that the weather robot has destroyed the Candyland section of Superjail.
