- Actually Pretty Funny: Pearl looks annoyed for a moment when Amethyst shakes her rump in front her. Once the surprise wears off, Pearl smiles while rolling her eyes.
- Brick Joke: The episode starts with Pearl trying to get the karaoke box to work until Steven tells her to press "Start". At the end it's revealed that Pearl accidentally programmed the same song to play sixteen times. No one minds, however, since they get to do an encore.
- Continuity Nod: The song played is "Haven't You Noticed (I'm a Star)" from "Sadie's Song".
