Otto learns about Luann's death and wonders if Jax's recent actions are the cause. Henry Lin is disappointed that the Sons didn't bring any guns, but offers to help his own gun trafficker. Clay decides that the porn business has become a liability and wants to cut losses.
- Abusive Parents: The judge berates his son even when being held at gunpoint, calling him a "low-life junkie".
- Agony of the Feet: Opie shoots the judge's son in the foot to establish his intetions as serious.
- Engineered Heroics: Zobelle and Weston give Hale the locations of Darby's drug and prostitution spots to make him look even more competent.Hale: I know the greater devil when I see it. Zobelle is flooding this town with Darby's crank and pussy. And he wants me to shut it down to prove to Charming they don't need the Sons.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When the Sons are threatening a judge's son so he'll drop a case against Lin's gun trafficker, the judge coldly refuses and flatly tells them to kill his own son, all while the poor kid begs for his dad's help. Tig is so horrified by this that he is actually freaking out and having a breakdown. Granted, all the Sons were disturbed by this, but Tig's reaction was probably the most extreme.
- Racial Face Blindness: Lin jokes that all white people look the same to the judge.
- Sex Sells: Clay wants to close down the studio, but he knows that he won't get the majority of votes because the boys love hanging out there and because it's still profitable.
