- Badass in Distress: Chris and Cosmo are held captive by Black Narcissus. However, Chris fights back and attempts to take Cosmo to safety, only to get knocked out on the way to Amy's ship.
- Disappointed in You: Dr. Eggman says this word for word to Sonic for letting his temper get out of hand.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Eggman may threaten hostages with no problem, but he will not hurt them.Eggman: "It's one thing to take people prisoner and threaten them, but when you hurt somebody, that's going too far."
- Evil Laugh: Sonic does one before destroying the gold and silver robots.
- Superpowered Evil Side: Sonic uses the fake Chaos Emeralds to transform into Dark Super Sonic after seeing Cosmo so frightened and Chris passing out. We all know that making fake Chao Emeralds is phony baloney.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Eggman, of all people, gives a minor one to Sonic for letting his anger take control over him while in his Dark form.
- Would Hurt a Child: Narcissus knocks Chris out with no problem.
