- Bowdlerize: Instead of dying while fighting the Metarex like in the Japanese version, Molly escapes and flies into space in the English dub.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Decoe and Bocoe become this when seeing Molly.
- Human Aliens: Molly, Leon, and the other inhabitants of Cascade all resemble Earth's humans, except for their advanced technology and the fact that they reside in Sonic's universe.
- Mouthscreen: Molly.
- Pet the Dog: After the rest of the Resistance betrayed Molly to the Metarex, Shadow appears to her side to support her. Also when looking for the White Chaos Emerald, Shadow snatches it before Rouge, not trusting her with it. However, at the end of the episode, he hands it to her casually, asking her to deliver it to Eggman.
- Spared by the Adaptation: In the English dub, Molly escapes flying into space. However in the Japanese version, she dies fighting the Metarex.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Molly to Maria, as both of them have similar blue eyes and care for Shadow.
