Sonic is suddenly arrested for a crime he did not commit. As everyone struggles to grapple with the situation, an escaping Sonic comes face to face with someone resembling him.
This episode contains examples of:
- Adaptation Expansion: The episode expands on Sonic and Shadow's first encounter from Sonic Adventure 2, adding both having a race and fighting briefly, with Shadow taking the upper hand.
- The Bad Guy Wins: Shadow escapes and Sonic gets arrested.
