Upon hearing Sonic's capture, Chris, Tails, and their friends try to break Sonic out of prison and prove his innocence, only to run into Eggman and his team.
This episode contains examples of:
- Badass in Distress: Sonic, as with the game this adaption was based on.
- Mistaken for Cheating: Amy hugged Shadow (believing him to be Sonic), but then becomes horrified to see him alongside Rouge.
- No One Gets Left Behind: When Prison Island is about to explode and Shadow tries to save himself and Rouge, she refuses to leave Chris (who followed Shadow) to die in the explosion. Despite Shadow's initial indifference, he does teleport himself, Rouge, and Chris before the bomb explodes.
