To Bleat or Not to Bleat

Original air date: 11/24/2000

In the second episode of Sheep in the Big City, a girl named Lisa Rental "saves" Sheep from General Specific so that she can keep him as a pet against his will.

"To Bleat or Not to Bleat" contains examples of:

  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: An Oxymoron commercial shows a trailer for a movie called "Attack Of The 50 Foot Creature", a giant monster consisting of 50 evil feet. Released in Europe as "The Approximately 17 Metre Creature That Amusingly Enough Happens To be Made Entirely Out Of Feet Movie".
  • Bratty Half-Pint: Lisa Rental fits this to a T.
  • Hypocritical Humor: The Ranting Swede rants about how everyone thinks ranting is all there is to him. He even claims at the end of the sketch that he's done with ranting, when nearly every subsequent episode would have him come back to rant some more.
  • Literal Metaphor: In one scene, General Specific and Private Public decide to "think outside the box"...as in, they literally exit a cardboard box to think of another plan to capture Sheep.
