- Brainwashing for the Greater Good: Mozar intends on putting through all of the Hamatos through the Psionic Extractor, thinking that it will be easier to indoctrinate them to their cause if they break them first.Mozar: They will be less inclined to bemoan the loss of their planet as well.
- Ditto Aliens: Lampshaded. When the Triceratons start programming the Black-Hole Generator to go off, Mortu identifies the scientists in the group. When Casey asks how they know, since the Triceratons all look alike, Mortu plainly points out that they are the only ones without weapons.
- Mama Bear: When strategizing, Tang Shen is the only one who disagrees prioritizing the Black Hole Generator over rescuing Michelangelo.
