Mario wants some McDonalds's ICCEEE CREAAAMMM
Karen has taken up a job as McDonalds' cashier, and unfortunately for her and her employer Swagmaster, who should walk in but ice cream addict Mario and SMG4. Karen does her best to take their order and send the boys on their way, but when Mario accidentally breaks the ice cream machine, all hell breaks loose. Can Karen and Swag contain the ensuing chaos?
- Bottle Episode: The entire episode takes place inside of McDonald's with a brief shot of SMG4 and Mario going inside.
- The Bus Came Back: This is Karen's first appearance since "Mario Goes on a Diet" and her first focus episode since "How To Train Your Mario".
- Butt-Monkey: SMG4 really gets the short end of the stick this time around. Of course he has to deal with Mario's antics, but Mario later gets him mauled by the rabid crowd by telling them that SMG4 wouldn't let him have any ice cream. And that's before Karen uses him as a bludgeon. Can you blame him for strangling Mario at the end of the whole sordid affair?
- Call-Back:
- This is the same McDonalds Swag was working in during "Mario Works at McDonalds" back in June 2019, only now he has somehow been promoted to middle-manager and Chris is nowhere to be seen.
- When Swag briefly finds himself attracted to Karen over their shared love of More Dakka, he stops and claims he must stay loyal to Sonic – the two had married in "If Mario Was In... Sonic Movie 2".
- Death Is Cheap: When SMG4 refuses to buy Mario ice cream, Mario retaliates by holding his breath… for so long that he suffocates and goes to heaven. He would have stayed there for awhile enjoying infinite ice cream had SMG4 not given him a 1-Up mushroom.
- The Dreaded: Mario setting foot in McDonalds makes Swag realize he and Karen suddenly have a lot of trouble on their hands.
- Furry Reminder: Karen purrs when Swag pets her head. She also hisses just as she lunges at Mario, who was messing with the ice cream machine.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Swagmaster is rather rude and inconsiderate to Karen and doesn't really trust her with handling Mario but, in his defense, he does give her credit where due; he awards her for raking in some cash with a pat on the head (which Karen actually likes and purrs to despite threatening Swag at first) and, stuck repairing the machine while angry customers attack Karen, tosses her a shotgun to fight back. He even awards her with free ice cream which, though a weak prize for everything Karen has done, was still nice of him.
- Manchild: As per the norm whenever food is concerned, Mario acts like a toddler in an adult's body. This is further emphasized by SMG4 ordering him a Happy Meal but refusing (with reason) to get ice cream.
- Mass "Oh, Crap!": SMG4, Karen, and especially Swag have one when they notice Mario lunging towards the ice cream machine.
- Screams Like a Little Girl: SMG4 lets out a rather high-pitched shriek as Mario sics the angry mob on him.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: After all the effort she puts to stop the ice cream revolution and restore peace to McDonalds, poor Karen only gets a free ice cream instead of something far more valuable like a raise for her troubles.
- Take That!: This episode takes a jab at McDonald's ice cream machine constantly breaking down.
- You Are Too Late: Mario taunts Karen for stopping him from fiddling with the ice cream machine much too late.
