The group end up going to a hot spring to help Reki recuperate, but before that, they end up also having some fun at the beach!
Tropes:
- Beach Episode / Hot Springs Episode: Both of these events going on in one episode. Yet only a couple of the group members even make it to the hot springs!
- Cannot Talk to Women: Reki sees a girl on their ship that he finds cute, but can't muster up the courage to talk to, even attempting to Langa wingman for him so he doesn't look "desperate". Unfortunately when he finally musters up the courage, the girl wasn't even talking to him, but whoever was on her phone. Miya and Shadow laugh as they revel in Reki's misunderstanding.
- Contrived Coincidence: Everyone is apparently all going to the same hot springs for different reasons. Reki, Langa and Miya for the hotsprings itself. Shadow because there had to be an adult to watch over the teens. Joe because "vacation" and Cherry because he had business in that area.
- Dead Man Writing: Miya draws out the Pantu's face right before he passed out.
- Deliberately Cute Child: Miya acts like a cute child and pretends to be Joe's kid to turn away the two ladies he was trying to pick up. He even calls Cherry his "mom" which only sealed Joe's fate.
- In Touch with His Feminine Side: Cherry carries a parasol and stays under the shade when they get to the beach. Joe claims it's because Cherry doesn't want to get a tan and how "delicate" he was.
- Not Cheating Unless You Get Caught: When Joe and Cherry make it to the hot springs Joe notes that they were the first to make it while Cherry corrects him by saying he was first. Then there's playback footage of Carla stretching out her wheels to cross the finish line first. Joe calls out Cherry's cheating.
- The Prankster: Reki gleefully pranks his friends once they hit the beach. From kicking Langa into the ocean, stabbing Shadow up the butt and dropping some ice down Miya's jacket while he's playing his video game.
- Screams Like a Little Girl: Miya, Langa and Reki's voices get noticeably pitchy when they're screaming for their lives. Reki especially.
- Security Cling: Langa and Reki do this when they realize there's a group of Pantu waiting for them at the bottom of the hill.
- Serious Business: Everyone besides Reki is super stoked to skate to the hot springs late at night and take it very seriously.
- Stupid Sexy Flanders: When Miya tells Joe, his "papa" that his "mom" was mad and would kill him if he doesn't come back, Joe looks to see a pair of slim legs in the shade. He blushes and gets excited as his eyes go further up... and realizes those legs belong to Kaoru.
