Tropes
- Anticlimax: Captain leaves goes to get some new equipment installed, which Shute assumes is a new weapon. It turns out to be the ability to make facial expressions.
- Breather Episode: Very laid-back, and sandwiched between the duel with Ashuramaru last episode, and the upcoming battle with Tallgeese in the next. The only conflict, a single Pawn Leo, is dispatched easily.
- Call-Back: In 'The Blazing Samurai Comes To Neotopia', the cover for that episode's battle was that it was a movie. So now Keiko and Sayla think the Dai-Shogun is also a movie star!
- Heroic BSoD: Zero goes into a brief one when Sayla ignores his usual spiel to gush over Fenn.
- He's Back!: Tallgeese is, to be precise.
- Hypocritical Humor: When Fenn gets upset that Sayla and Keiko aren't paying attention to him, Zero tells the Spirit that he must learn to share the spotlight. When Sayla starts gushing over Bakunetsumaru for being able to get dai-Shogun's autograph, Zero throws a minor tantrum.
- It May Help You on Your Quest: According to the Dai-Shogun, the toothpick he leaves Bakunetsumaru will.
- That Makes Me Feel Angry: Captain tells Zero that he is envious of the latter's ability to make facial expressions. Partly justified, as Captain at that time wasn't built to emote.
