Fed up with the failures of Zapper's gang, the Commander sends a different warrior after the Gundam Force. This being a Musha Gundam called Ashuramaru. Ashuramaru has a huge grudge against Bakunetsumaru, and feels allying with the Dark Axis worth getting revenge!

- Downer Ending: The episode closes with both Captain and Bakunetsumaru injured from Ashuramaru's attacks, and Cobramaru secretly following them to SDG headquarters.
- Knight of Cerebus: Ashuramaru is a completely serious villain who badly injures two of our main characters. The entire season gets more serious after he shows up.
- Noodle Incident: What were Bakunetsumaru and Kujakumaru (Ashuramaru) fighting over? Only those who've read the SD Gundam Force Gaiden will know.
- Taking the Bullet: Captain shields Bakunetsumaru from Ashuramaru's spear this way.
- You Have Failed Me: Non lethal version. The Commander has had enough of the Terrible Trio failing and simply beats them again. Rather than sending them back out again he sends Ashuramaru instead.
