Tropes

  • Bait-and-Switch: The mysterious soldier who's been looking for Tucker, claiming to want to serve him, is actually a process server from Chorus, and he serves Tucker a class action suite on behalf of all the single mothers who got knocked up during the Temple of Procreation incident alluded to in "Previously On".
  • Big "NO!": Poor Tucker does this after the mysterious individual (real name Spencer, see below) leaves, leaving him with the consequences of the Temple of Procreation incident (one of which being a class-action lawsuit from all the mothers who birthed his children).
  • Company Cross References: When Sarge stays awake from paranoia due to believing Dylan and Jax are enemies, Simmons explains he has been awake for five days, and Sarge rambles that "Sleep means death", all a reference to Day 5, another show by Rooster Teeth. This also leads to some Self-Deprecation, when Jax blatantly refers to this as a "weak premise".
  • Faking the Dead: After being spooked by the mysterious soldier, Caboose plays dead until he leaves.
  • Given Name Reveal: The mysterious soldier reveals his name near the end of the episode, which turns out to be "Spencer Porkinsenson".
  • The Reveal: The fake Sarge's name is Surge and the fake Church's name is Temple.
  • Wham Shot: Sarge sees his reflection, but when he moves away the reflection doesn't.
