Despite being warned that they would be destroyed in their final battle, the Rangers of the year 3000 decide to stay with Wes and protect the year 2001. However, Wes grows conflicted about them staying as Ransik begins the final phase of the destruction of Silver Hills.

- Armor-Piercing Question: When Nadira asks Frax why humans and mutants hate each other so much, this makes him realize how his desire to get revenge on Ransik lead to him getting caught in a vicious cycle of hatred.
- Armor-Piercing Response:
- Before he is taking away, Nadira apologizes to Frax for what her father did to him when was human and calls him by his real name, it makes him realize she has changed for better and encourages Nadira to break the cycle.
- After Frax is reprogrammed, Nadira goes to him to ask for more information on being human, he tells her that he is a fully automated mechanical robot, and does not have any information on being human, she sadly realizes any part of him that was Dr. Fericks is gone for good.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Wes tricking the other Rangers onto the Time Ship and sending them back to the future so they'd be safe from the disaster.
- Emmy Bait: Jen's crying and desperate attempt to tell Wes that she loves him, just before the Rangers are sucked back through time.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: The balcony where Ransik rallies his Cyclobot army to find Frax is the same one where Astronema adressed her troops for the final battle in Countdown For Destruction.
- Heel–Face Door-Slam: Just as Frax realizes the error of his ways and attempts to break the Cycle of Revenge, his humanity is erased by Ransik and he's reprogrammed to be his loyal servant, however before that's done, he urges Nadira to break the cycle.
- Heel–Face Turn / Took a Level in Kindness: All it takes is one childbirth for Nadira to pull a 180 on her personality.
- Irony: Early on in the series, Nadira lured Trip into a trap by claiming she wanted to turn good. Here, it's partially thanks to Trip that Nadira starts a real Heel–Face Turn.
- Mind-Reformat Death: Ransik erases what is left of Dr. Ferricks' essence, reprogramming Frax into a psychotic machine.
- Multi-Part Episode: The first third of the season finale.
- Pregnant Hostage: There's one in the store that Nadira robs. She goes into labour, and watching the miracle of childbirth starts Nadira's Heel–Face Turn.
- Sadistic Choice: Eric finds himself faced with one: Either have Q-Rex fight Doomtron and cause the opening of time holes, or allow Doomtron to destroy the city. Not willing to let the latter happen, he chooses to fight.
