Carl William Demarest (February 27, 1892 – December 28, 1983) was an American actor, best known for his roles in several Preston Sturges comedies of the 1940s and for playing Uncle Charley on the sitcom My Three Sons from 1965–72.
He was married to Estelle Collette and Lucille Thayer and had no children, although he helped Collette raise a daughter from a previous marriage.
Demarest died in his home from a heart attack in 1983 at the age of 91.
