In the year 3000, the future is protected by Time Force. After the most dangerous mutant criminal, Ransik, has been captured, it's looking like the future is bright. However, when Ransik escapes custody, he enacts a plan that leads four futuristic heroes on a journey into the past.


Tropes

  • Big "NO!": Jen screams this when Ransik strikes Alex behind his back.
  • Blatant Lies: When Gluto is set to be frozen, he tries to unsuccessfully claim his innocence. The guards don’t buy it for a minute. Unfortunately at this time Nadira has arrived.
  • Dead-Hand Shot: After Alex passes on his morpher to Jen, his hand falls to the ground limp.
  • Disposable Fiancé: Just hours after proposing to Jen, Alex is fatally wounded by Ransik.
  • Emmy Bait: Many fans point to The Reveal where Wes takes his helmet off, showing his face for the first time, and a teary-eyed Jen is stunned silent as the prime demonstration of the superior acting in this season.
  • Foreshadowing: During Ransik's trial, he's seeing making eye contact with a pink haired woman, It turns to be his daughter Nadira who later helps him to escape from custody. Also while transportin Ransik, Katie and Trip are riding on motorcycles similar to ones which will be seen in several episodes later.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Katie scolds Jen to be polite to a driver whose car they're trying to acquire. She then promptly throws him out with no effort.
  • I Want My Mommy!: Gluto says this when he fails to talk his way out of being frozen.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Jen ignores Captain Logan trying to stop them from following Ransik to the past.
  • Vulnerable Convoy: Jen, Trip, Lucas, and Katie transport Ransik to prison by way of a truck. Unfortunately, it's ambushed by Nadira and Ransik's gang, allowing the criminal to escape.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Captain Logan scolds Jen, Trip, Lucas, and Katie for Ransik's escape as it was their responsibility. Refusing to listen to their explanations and firing them on the spot might have been a bit extreme though.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Nadira tricks Lucas, Trip and Katie into lowering their guard by pretending to have been ran over on the road.
