TJ tries to find a way the Rangers can outsmart the Psycho Rangers, just as a Silver one appears.
Tropes:
- An Ice Person: Psycho Blue's monster form. He makes it snow and even nearly freezes the Mega Voyager solid.
- Ax-Crazy: Psycho Blue really goes nuts in this episode and, yes, he wields an axe.
- Badass Bookworm: T.J. figures out a way to combat the Psycho Rangers by disguising the rest of the team as Blue Rangers, taking advantage of the Psychos' obsession with defeating their counterpart.
- Big Damn Heroes: Zhane saves T.J. from getting an axe in the face. It keeps Psycho Blue busy long enough for Astronema to teleport the group away.
- Dressing as the Enemy: "Psycho Silver" turns out to be Zhane sowing confusion among the Psycho Rangers.
- The End... Or Is It?: The Rangers destroy Psycho Blue, but Astronema tells the remaining Psychos she has a plan to finish them once and for all.
- "Eureka!" Moment: T.J. studies footage of the fight looking for some kind of weakness. The playback soon gets messed up and only shows everyone in the same black-and-white color, which gives him the idea to disguise their colors.
- I Will Show You X!: When Psycho Silver tells Psycho Blue it isn't nice to point at him, Blue yells "I'll show you nice!"
- Never Recycle Your Schemes: Averted. The initial plan was just to force each of the Psychos to face a different Ranger color; it works at first, but then the Psychos are able to reassert the usual opponents. The others are content to start from square one, but then T.J. gets the idea to disguise their colors so that the Psychos can't tell who is who.
- Opponent Switch : Subverted. While seeming like a good strategy on paper, it's not that difficult for the villains to just switch back to the opponents they have a chance against. Fortunately, the Power Rangers are able to solve the situation by just disguising their respective colors.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: With five Blue Rangers to choose from, Psycho Yellow just decides to bail and try for another time to get Ashley. Psychos Red and Black leave when Blue attacks them and says he'll handle Psycho Silver.
- The Unintelligible: Psycho Blue's monster form just growls and snarls. Since the other Psycho Ranger monster forms could talk, he's apparently saying something.
- Unspoken Plan Guarantee: Zhane apparently planned the whole "Psycho Silver" charade with the other rangers, since we don't hear about it until he shows up on the battlefield.
- "You!" Exclamation:Psycho Blue: You!
Zhane: Well, who'd you expect?
