Aiyon is commended for his heroism, but lets the resulting fame get to his head. He must learn what makes a real hero when his Zord gets captured.
Episode Tropes:
- Beach Episode: Majority of the episode is shot on the city's beach.
- Can't Take Criticism: Once the Electro Zord is formed, Slyther groans at how uninspired it was and gives it zero stars. The Electro Zord responds by blasting him, forcing him to retreat.
- Disaster Dominoes: J-Borg experiences brain freeze from ice cream and collapses into Jane's arms, and she knocks three other people down that knocks the ice cream cart that would've hit a girl playing hula hoops (and wearing headphones) and couple on the beach had Aiyon and Javi not intervene.
- Exact Words: The Rangers can't go to the beach party for fear of civilian casualties. Nothing said that they can't just go as their civilian selves.
- Even the Guys Want Him: One male party-goer mentions that the Gold Ranger is "cute".
- My God, What Have I Done?: Aiyon has this reaction after letting the fame getting to his head and letting his Zord get captured.
- Shout-Out: "Did someone just say they needed a bigger boat?"
- Stealth Hi/Bye: Aiyon somehow vanishes within a crowd of people to transform into the Gold Ranger and then teleport on stage.
- Tempting Fate: Zayto hopes that Aiyon (transformed into the Gold Ranger on stage) doesn't summon a Zord. And not even a second later...Aiyon: Send in the Mosa Razor Zord.Zayto: (not even surprised) Sooooo, he just did it.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Jane and J-Borg's antics are the reason that Aiyon gets an inflated ego; first Jane's attempts to give J-Borg ice cream causes the domino effect that causes Aiyon to get free ice cream and then Jane recording them and specifically singling out the Gold Ranger lets him get a bit egotistical.
- What Were You Thinking?: Izzy says this word to word upon confronting Aiyon on his careless action.
