Recap / PaPCAaMiPT Ch 4 "Down the Hooooole!"

Go To

A few days after where we left off, things have been pretty humdrum; Pound's still reluctant to give up his diapers, and Pumpkin still hasn't been able to make it to her potty. Things start to change up, however, when Mr. and Mrs. Cake have to go to a baking order, leaving Pinkie Pie in charge.

She's determined to get the twins to use their potties, and so takes them to the bathroom and has Gummy watch them too. Pumpkin is excited, but Pound is not. She tries to tell him that using the potty can be fun and he replies that no, the potty is stupid but the toilet is fun, and he has an idea of how to have fun with it. He whispers his idea in Pumpkin's ear and she agrees it sounds fun, but doesn't see how they can do it without Pinkie Pie noticing.

However, Pound gets his wish when Pinkie Pie has to go downstairs and check on some cupcakes which are baking and leaves Gummy in charge of watching the twins in the bathroom. The twins then set their plan into action: have fun flushing things down the toilet!

Pound goes first, he unrolls the toilet paper and flushes it down. At first, Pumpkin can't think of something to flush, but then she finds a rubber duck and flushes it. They continue to flush things: Pound flushes a bar of soap, Pumpkin flushes her toothbrush, Pound flushes a comb, then Pumpkin tries to flush her diaper but it floats back up.

Pound gives her another try, but she can't find anything interesting, so they decide to go to their nursery and flush the stuffed animals they don't sleep with anymore. Gummy's in the way, though... so they flush him down the toilet.

They then start flushing their stuffies: Pumpkin flushes a monkey, Pound flushes a turtle, Pumpkin flushes a butterfly, but then Pound Cake flushes a rubber chicken. This makes Pumpkin really angry because she liked the chicken, and she calls him a turd. Then, she realises something: literal turds need to be flushed, and if Pound is a turd, why doesn't she just flush him? So she does.

Afterwards, however, she starts to feel guilty, and it gets to the point where she calls herself a turd— and she said before that if someone is a turd, they need to be flushed, so she flushes herself.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Pinkie Pie finishes the cupcakes and goes up to check on the twins. She finds various items, plus Pound and Gummy, gone, and sees Pumpkin going down the toilet. She reluctantly dresses in scuba gear and flushes herself down the toilet.

  • Noodle Incident:
    • Pinkie Pie tells the twins that just because you think you don't have to go, doesn't mean you don't, then adds "I speak from experience". The experience is never revealed.
    • Apparently, Pinkie Pie had to go down into the sewers to get something before.
  • Potty Failure: Apparently, Pumpkin still hasn't been able to make it to her potty in time.
  • Shout-Out: The twins' cries of "X go down the hooooole!" is a reference to the Tiny Toon Adventures episode "The Potty Years", in which a younger Plucky would say the same thing whenever he flushed something down the toilet.
