Linda makes a power play and Piper digs for information about Alex. The women get their first taste of a decades-old feud between cellblocks.

- And I'm the Queen of Sheba: Before Linda gets her head shaved, she’s begging not to be here cause she’s an MCC executive. One of the guards, Lopez, says “I don’t care if you’re Princess fucking Di. Still gotta clear your lice.”
- Bait-and-Switch: The guard coming to escort Frieda out of Ad Seg makes her think her plot to trick the interrogator failed and she’s being sent to Gen Pop where Carol can have her killed. She soon realizes she’s being sent to Block B, AKA “Florida”, where she’s probably the safest she’ll be from Carol given the circumstances. The guard goes on to say that Frieda must have had help getting there.
- Call-Back: Nicky’s role of breaking into the pharmacy and guving out drugs during the riot comes back to haunt her when she’s interviewed.
- Celeb Crush: In the past, Carol has a poster of Burt Reynolds.
- Door Stopper: The collected statements against Nicky have her comparing it to “ a George R. R. Martin novel.”
- Facial Horror: Discussed when Flaca tells Black Cindy how the last girl to cross Barbara got hot Milky Way thrown in their face. Also shown is Barbara getting her face slashed in by Carol during the kickball brawl.
- Gang War: Black Cindy learns of the rivalry between C and D blocks, with B Block being neutral territory.
- Internal Reveal: Red, Nicky and Frieda find out Piscatella’s dead, though Piper thinks they’re talking about Alex.
- Obfuscating Disability: Frieda steals some bleach and uses it to not only bleach her hair to make herself look older and more stressed out, but fakes having arthritis. It works and she gets sent to B Block, aka Florida.
- Rank Up: After everything Linda went through last season, she blackmails her way into being the new senior Vice President of MCC.
