Everyone is going on a tour!
"A Diamond Heist" is the second episode of the second reboot of Object Terror, and the 15th, overall.

Trowel needs money for a stress toy, and an unknown object hiding behind the bushes gives him the idea of getting a diamond from the Object Show Museum. The challenge is to be night guards for the museum, which gives him, Beer, and Cactus a chance.

Full Recap

"A Diamond Heist" provides examples of...

  • Adaptational Karma: Trowel never received any punishment besides putting his team up for elimination (which he didn't get eliminated anyway) for stealing the diamond in "Games and Gems" of the first reboot. Here, he is sent to prison alongside Beer, Cactus, and Wallet for the same reason.
  • Anything but That!: When Skittle wonders who to pick next for her team, Arch declares he's fine with anyone just as long as it isn't his tormentors, Trowel or Beer. Shame that Skittle had No Listening Skills at that very moment.
  • Banana Peel: Mint deliberately steps on one for the thrills much to the urk of his unibrow.
  • Driven to Suicide: Carpet consider this if he can't find a girlfriend. Ultimately, he does not go through with it as he scored a date with Stapler.
  • Establishing Character Moment:
    • Wallet threatening Plug that he will kill him.
    • Whipped Cream inventing a mind-control device and is annoyed by Paint's snarking.
    • Paint being sarcastic over the above invention and used it to make Whipped Cream slapped himself.
  • Heist Episode: Obviously.
  • Hot Pursuit: The other contestants go after Trowel, Beer, and Cactus on motorcycles. Two policemen also help out in chasing them down.
  • Last-Second Word Swap: Arch retracts his complaint when Beep Boop reveals to have a new, and god-awful, voice to him.
  • No Listening Skills: Played humorously at Arch's expense when Skittle misheard his request of not picking Trowel or Beer on her team. Guess which two competitors she picked next.
  • Oh, Crap!: Arch's reaction once the realization of being on the same team as his two tormentors, Trowel and Beer, sinks in.
  • Post-Kiss Catatonia: Carpet gives one to Stapler in the beginning.
  • The Remake: Of "Games and Gems."
  • Running Gag: And so begins the running gag of Printer paying fines offscreen.
  • Sinister Silhouettes:
  • Slow "NO!": Cactus and Trowel let out one when the former tripped and the Tombnesian diamond he was carrying fall in slow motion and shattered on impact.
  • Stop Hitting Yourself: Whipped Cream's mind control device is used for this purpose on Biscuit and Whipped Cream himself.
  • Undesirable Prize: Arch certainly thinks so when he received a Computer Amiibo for having the most likes. Also, everyone at the elimination except Mint
