Cole, Master Wu, and Vania join forces with the Upply in order to leave their inescapable underground prison.
- Convection, Schmonvection: Nobody suffers any adverse effects from being so close to the lava. Korgran even scoops out a tankard of it before being reminded that he drinks juice, not lava, for breakfast.
- Geo Effects: Being so far underground strengthens Cole's abilities to the point where he can find an escape route by touching the floor.
- Sour Supporter: Plundar complains about how they've already explored all the caverns, but still follows the group.
