Alex is send on a Division mission to be part of a team to assassinate Prince Erik of Georgia. Nikita tries to warn Prince Erik's wife Princess Kristina, however she turns out to be the one who ordered the hit.
Nikita escapes her and saves Prince Erik once Alex's team arrives. It turns out that Princess Kristina wants to kill Prince Erik because he is in love with another woman, Leela, and was planning on stepping down from his position and divorcing her, cutting off her way to power. Kristina orders Leela to be held hostage to force Erik out of hiding. Alex and Nikita however manage to free Leela, reunite her with Erik and save them both from Division.
Michael arrives with a team, pretending to be FBI, and ends the standoff by "arresting" the Division agents and freeing the other hostages. Nikita escapes by stealing one of those FBI uniforms.
Nikita and Alex celebrate their victory, however Michael is starting to get suspicious about Alex.
