Ryan tips of Nikita about a possible dirty bomb which was ignored by his bosses. She travels to Quebec and resumes her cover as Josephine, the lover of a weapons dealer named Voss. It turns out however that Voss was trying to defect to the US and wanted to bring the bomb to the government.
Nikita and Voss evade Gogol, who want the bomb, but it turns out that Percy set the whole thing up to kill both Nikita and Ryan and get the bomb. Voss is killed. After a three way shoot out between Gogol, Divison and Nikita, Nikita outsmarts Gogol and has Ryan bring the bomb to the CIA. He is promoted again, to a higher position than before.
Meanwhile, Alex gets closer to her new neighbor Nathan.

- Badass Bureaucrat: Ryan stalls the Gogol agents long enough for Nikita to arrive, just by trying to get them to sign various forms for the take off of their plane.Ryan: I'm a black belt in bureaucracy.
- Gambit Pile Up: Gogol want the dirty bomb. Voss wants to defect. Nikita and Ryan want to stop Gogol. Division wants to kill Nikita and Ryan and to get the bomb themselves.
- Honey Trap: It turns out that when Division wants it's agents to be this, they're expected to go fully through with it, even if they are in a serious relationship as Nikita was with Daniel when she was forced to sleep with Voss.

- Replacement Goldfish: Alex gets close to nice neighbor Nathan pretty quickly, after her last love interest Thom died a couple episodes ago.
