Alex is now an agent, and as such is given an appartment and more freedom. However, she was also implanted a kill chip.
Nikita goes to Ryan for help in arresting Birkhoff to gain access to his laptop. They get Birkhoff to hack the Blue-Ray player, allowing them to know his password, before Michael arrives to bust Birkhoff out. Nikita manages to turn off Alex's tracker.
Ryan is demoted, but Nikita promises to make it up to him.

- Badass Bureaucrat: Ryan. When he realizes Michael is there, he goes out to stall him, despite having no combat training and Michael having shot a ROCKET LAUNCHER at him the last time they met.
- Calling the Cops on the FBI: Well, actually calling the CIA on Division, and it only sort of works, but still.
