Rarity: You're right. But I do know. - Shout-Out: The depiction of Sweet Feathers Sanctuary shown when Rarity is praising Fluttershy's efforts includes a rave named Poe, a shark tank labeled "Bruce", and a black-and-white beagle resting on the roof of a red doghouse.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: You can't just open an animal sanctuary and expect that to be the end of it. There are many logistical aspects to consider if you want to keep your sanctuary running. Fluttershy, who just wanted her sanctuary to provide care for sick animals, learns this firsthand when she attends the symposium for sanctuary owners.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Rarity gives Fluttershy one of these talks when she doubts her ability to keep the Sweet Feather Sanctuary running.Rarity: Don't let those ponies get you down, darling. Your shelter is amazing. You built that shelter on your own. Maybe not the way they would have done it. Maybe not even the way it should have been done. But you did it. When I started I had other designers' work to look at. But you saw a need and started from scratch and you're amazing! They should be looking for what new ideas you have to offer. And they're fools if they missed it.
