- Intoxication Ensues: The victim's absinthe in "The Green Fairy" was drugged. She and her lover were intoxicated by it, and when she was too sedated to defend herself, she was murdered.
- Kissing Under the Influence: Julia and William get drunk together and end up kissing and making out. They nearly go all the way and sleep together, but they stop just on time. In the morning, neither of them regrets and it marks the beginning of their relationship.
- Picnic Episode: Obviously not the whole episode, but Julia and William go to have a picnic in a park, and they get drunk on absinthe.
