Piggy's Time Machine is the eighth episode of Muppet Babies (2018).
Miss Piggy can't wait for her birthday to come, so Gonzo takes her and the other kids for a spin in his time machine to make it there.
Tropes:
- An Aesop: Patience is the key.
- Art Shift: The prehistoric world the kids visit is animated in 2D, as opposed to the usual CGI of the main show.
- Birthday Episode: The episode takes place around Piggy's birthday.
- The Cameo: The Scribble Screen displays icons of Beaker and Sam Eagle.
- Early-Bird Cameo: An icon of Baby Beaker appears on the Scribble Screen; he wouldn't be introduced until the next episode, "One Small Problem".
- Funny Background Event: In the desert, there's a Sphinx with Beaker's face on it in the background.
- Kissing the Ground: Gonzo does this when the kids make it home to the daycare. Animal mimics him, then is grossed out by the taste of the rocks.
- Mythology Gag:
- When the kids first start to time travel, Animal yells "Animal go bye-bye!".
- At one point, the kids get teleported into the opening of The Muppet Show (more specifically, the remake from The Muppets (2011)).
