Kill and Replace: Elliot does this to his other self at the end of the episode.
Mind Screw: Carrying over from the already mind screwy "eXit", this shouldn't be a surprise. The screwiness gets even heavier come to the end when Elliot finds that his parallel self has sketches of not just our Elliot, but of Darlene, Romero, Mobley, Trenton, the Fun Society arcade, and the fsociety mask. The implication being that the parallel Elliot has fabricated the entire show, and is by consequence the true Elliot Alderson. Do you have a headache yet?
Shout-Out: Philip Price admits to his wife that he was just "joshing" Elliot once he arrived at Angela's apartment which is a nod to Rami Malek's role as Josh Washington in Until Dawn.
The moment when Elliot is exploring the alternate Washington Township, is a homage to the 'Mr. Sandman' sequence from Back to the Future.
Once More, with Clarity: This episode fills in the blanks of what happened to our Elliott upon arriving in this utopia. We find out why Mr. Robot's phone screen was damaged, as well as hear what was going on with parallel Elliott's odd phone call to Angela's parents.
Ontological Mystery: The entire episode consists of Elliot trying to make sense of the supposed "parallel world" that he has found himself in.
