After watching Lan fight off Neo WWW, Dex wants to cross fuse to assist against the Asteroid Navis.
- A Day in the Limelight: The first half of the episode features Mayl and Dex touring Sci Lab trying to get Dex a synchro chip to perform cross fusion. Afterwards, the focus is on Mayl despite Lan logging out Video Man.
- All Your Powers Combined: When cross fused, Mayl has both Roll and Rush's abilities, able to open holes to send Video Man's viruses back to the cyberworld.
- Balloon Belly: The episode begins with Lan defeating Beast Man. Dex treats Lan to some curry and when he's done eating, has a bloated stomach.
- Blessed with Suck: Rush tells Roll that he was able to feel the pain during cross fusion and refuses to do so again.
- Continuity Nod: Mr. Famous recalls Shade Man using Rush's ability to traverse between cyberspace and the real world and turn him into a chip allowing him to substantiate in the real world without a dimensional area. Mr. Famous uses the process to make Rush a living synchro chip.
