Recap / Mega Man NT Warrior Stream Route Sans Close Call

Go To

When a minor criminal's stash of stolen cars get found out by the police, his boss demands he steal 100 cars to make up for the ones recovered by the police. Slur gives him Asteroid Bright Man to carry out the assignment.

  • Call-Back: The car museum has the mobile dimensional converters Sci Lab used to combat Shade Man and Dr. Regal in the final 2 episodes of Axess. [[Foreshadowing They return in a later episode.]]
  • Heroic Sacrifice: A non-fatal example. Route-san gives all her energy to take control of the auto pilot system and remote controls a truck to distract Bright Man. She's deleted and restored by back up data but has no memory of it.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: Like Aki before her, Route is done in 3D CGI.
  • Meaningful Name: Route works as a tour guide in a car museum referencing how cars take routes to reach their destination. Since she's a computer program, it also means routing to send information down a selected path to reach its recipient.
  • Sins of Our Fathers: Ken initially tries to buy 100 cars from a dealership telling the salesman his descendants can pay off the debt.
  • Visual Pun: Route's emblem is the number three underneath the square root symbol. A reference to how the characters call her Route-San, since "route" sounds similar to "root" and while "san" is an honorific, it can also mean "three" in Japanese.
